Huey Bear is a very sweet 5 year old Maltese mix who is currently being fostered by one of the employees at The Dog Bakery. Weighing in at only 6 pounds, this little boy is a compact companion that loves going out for long walks or just sitting on your lap while watching television. He is currently being fostered in a home with two other dogs (one medium sized cocker spaniel and another Maltese mix) along with 2 cats and gets along with all of the other furry creatures of the household. Huey is a very special dog that came from a high kill shelter in Southern California where he was pulled out to safety by the Maltese Rescue California just in the nick of time. His teeth were in horrible condition so he had to have all but his 2 bottom teeth removed so this little guy is on a wet food only diet. He is currently feasting on Sojos Dehydrated Raw Food from the bakery but is not picky and lives to eat and sample new foods!

 

Huey comes neutered, micro-chipped and ready to go with all of his shots. Being a Maltese, he does need regular grooming but he does not mind being brushed and pampered and will sit patiently when he gets bathed. At bedtime, he likes to sleep curled up right next to his foster mom and loves sleeping in on the weekends! Do you or anyone you know have space in your heart and home for this little guy?
