You'll never go wrong with bananas and apples. Apples are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and fiber which improves your dog's digestion and overall health. However, be careful not to feed your dog apple seeds as they can make him sick. Bananas are a great source of fiber and potassium, which helps your dog with gastrointestinal issues.


Cake Ingredients

- 1 mashed banana
- 1/4 cup shredded apple
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
-1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce

Frosting ingredients

- 1 mashed banana
- Apple slices


Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
2. Mix the shredded apples, mashed banana and applesauce together then stir in your flour and water.
3. Grease a pan with the coconut oil and bake your cake for about 25-30 minutes until the center is firm.
4. Mix flour and mashed bananas until you have a frosting-like consistency.
5. After the cake is cool, decorate with mashed bananas and top it off with apple slices as a bonus treat.


2. Sweet Potato Carrot Cake

This is another nutritious and delicious vegan dog cake recipe that you should try. It would be even better if you have one of those bone shaped pans or silicone molds to make interesting shapes.


Cake ingredients

- 1/2 cup sweet potato puree
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
-3 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons honey
-1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder


Frosting ingredients

- 1/4 cup sweet potatoes puree
-1/4 cup non-dairy yogurt.
- shredded carrots (not a must)


Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
2. Mix the honey, sweet potato puree and coconut oil together in a bowl. Add the almond flour, water, and baking powder then stir your carrots in.
3. Grease your pan with some coconut oil. Bake for about 25 minutes until the cake center is firm.
4. Let the cake cool then top it off with some yogurt, shredded carrots, and sweet potato puree.

Cake ingredients

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup canned pumpkin
- 1 cup almond milk

Frosting ingredients

- 2/3 cups plain dairy free yogurt
- 1/4 cup maple syrup


Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 350F.
2. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.
3. Melt the coconut oil and set it aside to allow it to cool.
4. Combine pumpkin, milk, maple syrup, and vinegar in a separate bowl.
5. Combine your dry and wet ingredients into one bowl while mixing thoroughly. Add in the coconut oil last.
6. Grease your pan with coconut oil and add in your batter.
7. Bake for about half an hour until it's dry inside.
8. Allow the cake to cool down while mixing your yogurt and maple syrup frosting. When the cake is cool, cover it with your syrup and yogurt frosting.
