All orders are shipped within 48 hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
For all orders over $49 before tax, shipping is free except on orders that contain 'merch' like tshirts and mugs*. All orders under $49 are $8.99. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.
*these items are print on demand and come from a 3rd party vendor. They have their own shipping fees which are separate from the items we ship from our bakery.
The Dog Bakery is not liable for online orders that are not picked up.
When placing an online order for pick-up that is not picked up on the due date, we will attempt to contact the customer via phone number provided and/or email provided. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to pick-up within 1 business day of scheduled date. Our cakes and treats are perishable so orders left past the time frame may be discarded and will not be refunded.
If an item goes on back order, we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available, we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

Do you accept returns/exchanges?
Absolutely! Our return/exchange policy is below:
Our policy covers 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
How To Return An Item
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. To complete your return, please include a note detailing your request (including the email address and/or order number associated with your purchase and send the item back to:

We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. In the case of an exchange, you will cover the shipping to send your item back to us, and we will cover the shipping to send your replacement to you.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
