Shipping policy

Shipping Rates
For all orders over $79 before tax, shipping is free except on orders that contain 'merch' like t-shirts, mugs and tote bags. These items are print on demand and come from a 3rd party vendor. They have their own shipping fees which are separate from the items we ship from our bakery.

All orders under $79 are $8.99. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Turnaround
All orders are shipped within 2-10 business days hours Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. During sales or holiday periods we may be delayed even further due to increase of orders.

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Unclaimed  Orders 
The Dog Bakery is not liable for online orders that are not picked up.
When placing an online order for pick-up that is not picked up on the due date, we will attempt to contact the customer via phone number provided and/or email provided. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to pick-up within 1 business day of scheduled  date. Our cakes and treats are perishable so orders left past the time frame may be discarded and will not be refunded.

Back Orders
If an item goes on back order, we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available, we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
